The Reunion

We first met with the team behind this wonderful campaign, NBC Telemundo, Peacock, and Red Bee, back in October of 2025. As we went through the first iteration of this idea, I knew it would be a fantastic campaign: not just from a creative standpoint, but a terrific challenge on the production side as well. Anyone who knows us, knows we love a good challenge! This campaign encompasses three very different commercials that all tie in as one cohesive campaign to promote the FIFA 2026 World Cup.

We explored locations where we could produce this campaign, both in and outside the United States. We created half a dozen production plans and presented several extremely talented directors. We all landed on Oliver Garland being the perfect steward of this campaign, and I'm so glad we did!

Oliver's keen eye for detail brought such life to the project. In collaboration with his amazing DP, German Vilche, Oliver's relentless pursuit of authenticity, performance, and nuance is what took this from a very strong script to something that surpasses all our expectations. We agreed we had to produce this in the United States, and ultimately landed on filming in Long Beach, CA, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and Miami, Florida. Three different crews. Three different states. Close to 300 talent. 16 locations. 3 amazing principal talent. We couldn't have asked for a better Tigre (Jesse Santoyo), Anna (Erika Glasser Suarez), and Pancho (Rafael Perez) to join us on this journey.

The Reunion/El Reencuentro is going to be an award-winning commercial. I know it is. But what's most rewarding is the constant and overwhelming trust our clients had in our vision for the direction and production of this project.  We filmed for 8 days, had 6 Tech and Director Scout days, traveled all over the country, and became a little family. This type of production is the reason we all do what we do.
