Halloween campaigns are always a vibe, but this one? One of our favorites ever. We got to produce a spot for 19 Crimes wine in collab with Universal Studios Monsters.
The assignment: bring Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Wolfman, and the Mummy to life on the dance floor. No pressure, right? We cast nationally to find dancers who could actually become these icons, not just wear the costumes.
Next up, the set. We needed something that felt like an underground club, the kind of spot you'd only find if you knew someone, but that also worked for a film crew and made sense logistically. We landed at Ace Studios in Miami, and it was the perfect home base.
Director Ezra Hurwitz leaned all the way into his dance background and teamed up with renowned choreographer Cultura to build moves that felt authentic, not cheesy. Our amazing stylist Angela Miravete created the looks, and Dalai Guzman absolutely killed it on SFX hair and makeup. The monsters were monstering, fr.
